This website is operated by Colourfield Art Studio. Throughout the terms and conditions document, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Colourfield Art Studio.
Covid-19 policy
- If scheduled classes are impacted by a lockdown or other Covid-19 restrictions, the length of the course will be extended to ensure each student completes the requisite number of classes. If you need to miss classes due to enforced isolation, please email us at enrolments@colourfieldstudio.com.au.
- Due to constantly changing government regulations and requirements in response to Covid-19, you may be required to wear a face mask during your class. In these instances please make sure you arrive with your own face mask to class.
Cancellation & refund policy
- We reserve the right to amend any course or schedule. If we cancel course or a workshop for any reason, you will receive a choice of a full refund, credit, or option to transfer to the same course at an alternate time if available. Any out-of-pocket expenses already committed to, such as pre-arranged travel costs, unfortunately cannot be recompensed.
- If you choose to withdraw or change to another course more than 14 days prior its commencement, we will provide you with a full credit available for use within 12 months from date of issue. Please email all requests for withdrawals or changes to enrolments@colourfieldstudio.com.au. Instanced where less than 14 days notice is given, will be reviewed based on individual circumstances.
- Sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, a class may be cancelled unexpectedly. Students are advised to check their telephone messages before coming to class. Any cancelled class by us will be rescheduled. We use contact details you provide at time of enrolment to notify you of any class schedule changes or cancellations. It is really important that you notify us of any changes to your personal contact details.
- We cannot accept responsibility for changes to students' personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Classes missed are the students' responsibility and are non-refundable. Students are not entitled to a discount or ‘make-up’ class if they miss a class for any course or workshop, they are enrolled in.
Student policy
- Students unable to attend a class should advise us by phone, text or email prior to start of class. If you're running late or plan to arrive after the start of class, please call ahead as a courtesy.
- Out of respect for other students and your tutor, students are requested to be punctual for class.
- Students are responsible to keep their working area clean and tidy. All tools should be cleaned and returned to their respective areas by the end of class.
- It is the student’s responsibility to collect their own artwork at the end of class. We accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to students' work left in the studio.
- Students are required to supply their own art materials unless otherwise specified in the course or workshop description. Materials lists for classes are included in the class information on the websites.
- Any student who disrupts classes or is abusive, threatening or violent will be asked to leave and may result in removal from the course. In this instance refund of any course fees will be forfeited.
Marketing
From time to time we take photos or videos during class of students and artworks. These photos are used for our promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. These photos will never be sold and will be used exclusively by and for Colourfield Art Studio. As a Condition of Enrolment, your consent is implied. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you, your child or your artwork please notify us via email to marketing@colourfieldstudio.com.au.
